Promotion of Family and Consumer Sciences

Family & Consumer Science Programs & FCCLA prepare students for college & careers by giving students the opportunity to learn about themselves, find their voice in their families & communities, meet & work with diverse groups of people, learn about their communities problems & solve them, discover leadership skills, make new experiences in safe environments, & use the skills they’ve learned, which expands their credibility. FCCLA also gives students the chance to travel to new places & obtain scholarships. The most important thing that these programs give to students is the chance to have fun while loving what they do. FCCLA & FACS programs try to push this with students into their future, so that they will love their careers & have passion for it in the future.
