Jasmine Busche

Chapter Co-Vice President

Meet Jasmine Busche, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA Co-Vice President. She is currently a senior at HHS. Not only is she involved in FCCLA, she also participates in NHS, FFA, Girl Scouts, and works at Kathy’s Kids Daycare, Northern Lights Gymnastics Academy and Power House Nutrition.  

In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends and spending time outdoors.

 

Her advice for FCCLA members is to be involved and open up to people and make new friends!

Co-Vice President Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility of duties in the president’s absence.

  • Work with advisor and executive council to develop an agenda for each meeting.

  • Assist president with parliamentary procedures at meetings.

  • Attend every meeting. If the vice president misses more than 3 meetings s/he will be removed from leadership.

  • Help the group make decisions through member participation.

  • Meet with executive council at least once per month to plan, discuss and evaluate the club’s progress.

  • Work with advisor, other district employees and the community to increase the awareness of FCCLA and student involvement in various activities.

  • Maintain records of chapter clippings, photographs, articles and other related materials.

  • Assist president with coordination of chapter activities and meetings.

Makenna Heier

Chapter Co-Vice President

Meet Makena Heier, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA chapter Co-Vice-President. She is currently a senior at HHS. Not only is she involved in FCCLA, she is in NHS & band.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends & family, watching Netflix, & working at the local movie theater. After high school, Makena plans to go to college to be a radiologic technologist.

Her advice for FCCLA members is to be involved in as much as you can. Do a star event, it will help you in the future!

Jordyn Peterson

Chapter President 

Meet Jordyn Peterson, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA chapter president. She is currently a junior at HHS. Outside of FCCLA, she is involved in NHS, golf, & works at a bank.

In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, watching Netflix, & golfing. After high school she would like to go to college for nursing.

Her advice for FCCLA members is to not be afraid to take a stand and be a leader, your voice is important!

  • Start and end meetings on time.

  • Meet with executive council at least once per month to plan, discuss and evaluate the    club’s progress.

  • Work with advisor, other district employees and the community to increase the awareness of FCCLA and student involvement in various activities.

  • Coordinate chapter activities and meetings with executive council, advisers, club members and others needed to complete the activity.

Ian Busche

Treasurer

Meet Ian Busche, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA chapter Treasurer. He is currently a freshman at HHS. Not only is he involved in FCCLA, he also participates in cross country, track & field,

In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends & going running.

 

His advice for FCCLA members is that you have to stay organized & always keep time management in mind. Without those two things, you will never succeed in anything. 

Treasurer Responsibilities

  • Keep an accurate record of all chapter income noting date received, source and amount.

  • Work with secretary to records dues (local, district/region, state and national) and membership when paid by each member.

  • Attend every meeting. If the treasurer misses more than 3 meetings s/he will be removed from leadership.

  • Keep an accurate record and receipts for all money paid out, to who paid and the amount.

  • Keep an accurate record and receipt for all money brought in, date and amount.

  • Meet with executive council at least once per month to plan, discuss and evaluate the club’s progress.

  • Assist advisor and secretary process chapter affiliation forms.

  • Present a financial report to the chapter members at each meeting.

  • At the end of the year make recommendations for the coming year’s financial expenses.

  • Assist with the planning and executing of all fund raising projects.

Makaela Unterseher

Secratary

Meet Makaela Unterseher, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA chapter Secratary. She is currently a senior at HHS. Not only is she involved in FCCLA, she also participates in FBLA, student council, NHS, volleyball, and her church youth group.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends. After high school, Makaela plans on going to college at Bismarck State College to complete generals, then continue on to get a nursing degree there as well.

 

Her advice for FCCLA members is the more involved you are, the more fun you will have!

Secratary Responsibilities

  • Keep an accurate, complete record of meeting minutes and activities to show decisions made by the group.

  • Work with advisor and executive council to develop an agenda for each meeting.

  • Make minutes available to membership by reading, posting and circulating them in club meetings.

  • Attend every meeting. If the secretary misses more than 3 meetings s/he will be removed from leadership.

  • Remind president of any unfinished business prior to next meeting.

  • Meet with executive council at least once per month to plan, discuss and evaluate the club’s progress.

  • Handles official correspondence for chapter.

  • Keeps accurate records of attendance and membership.

  • Counts and records chapter votes.

  • Helps advisor and treasurer process chapter affiliation forms.

Madeline Stromme 

Reporter

Meet Madeline Stromme, your 2018-2019 Hazen FCCLA chapter Reporter. She is currently a junior at HHS. Not only is she involved in FCCLA, she also participates in basketball, and theater.

In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, working, & listening to music.

​

Her advice for FCCLA members is that being in FCCLA is like being a part of a team or family. You need to put in all the hard work you can and great things will come out of it! You never let your team or family down.

Reporter Responsibilities

  • Attend every meeting. If the public relations director misses more than 3 meetings s/he will be removed from leadership.

  • Help the group make decisions through member participation.

  • Meet with executive council at least once per month to plan, discuss and evaluate the club’s progress.

  • Work with advisor, other district employees and the community to increase the awareness of FCCLA and student involvement in various activities.

  • Assist with coordinating chapter activities and meetings with executive council, advisers, club members and others needed to complete the activity.

  • Publicize chapter meetings and events in both the school and community through flyers, morning announcements, memos, video announcements, etc.
